How far can a tumbler go?
From insulation to active heating and cooling. A look at how smart tumblers have evolved, and what cooling technology changes next.

Tumblers have become something many of us carry every day, driven by a wish to cut down on disposable cups and to enjoy our favorite drinks anywhere. So where do they go from here?
Stage 1: Tumblers that preserve
Vacuum-insulated tumblers slow down how fast a drink’s temperature changes. But hot drinks still cool, and cold drinks still warm up. They can keep a temperature for a while, but they can’t create one.
Stage 2: Tumblers that heat
Smart mugs and tumblers with batteries and heaters arrived to keep drinks warm. They largely solved cold coffee, but most of them stop at heating.
Stage 3: Tumblers that heat and cool
The next shift is cooling. With a Peltier thermoelectric module, one device can both warm and chill a drink — an iced drink on a summer afternoon and hot coffee on a winter morning, all from the same tumbler. That’s why ALLCOM Smart Tumbler works across 10–80°C.
What comes next?
Future smart tumblers will feel more personal: remembering the drinks you love and the temperatures you prefer, and suggesting the right one for the moment. ALLCOM is also preparing a service that recommends temperatures for each drink, built on real usage and customer feedback.
From keeping temperature to creating it — ALLCOM is designing everyday comfort right at the center of that change.
